Quotes

Up til now I’ve included no quotes from Scripture. My intention is to remedy that by including a quote now and again from Scripture that I find enlightening. “Enlightening” is a word most often used in discussions concerning Eastern Philosophy but I believe it is much more salient when used with saving one’s immortal soul. Therefore, I will tend to use those that uplift rather than call out our faults because I believe that we inherently know in our hearts when we are doing wrong. Listening to our hearts one might equate with conscience but it is our hearts that we are called through.

For those not familiar, the Bible is said by some to be naught but myth or full of impossibilities and those impossibilities are due to our limited knowledge of what God is capable of. He is the only God and He can do anything He wants and all He does is righteous as being shifty is an impossibility for Him but not for us. We dare not equate ourselves with God as that is how individuals get damned.

God is patient with us and His Son is, therefore, also patient with us. Judgement is almost upon us as I think many more are beginning to realize so, that patience may be getting thin now. With that stated, His promise is a new Earth in which we who survive or that Jesus resurrects can live as He originally intended for us through His love for us. Never doubt His love but do not try His patience. The Scripture is what we have to get to know Him so avail yourselves of this beautiful book. It means your eternity and that is not a small thing.
