Taking My Advice?

The primary reason I began here on “Thec” was to suggest the Bible as one way of learning what is no longer taught. You can go to a church and that is a good thing but you can also begin a study of the Bible so that what you learn in church will follow you more closely. One conversation with God once a week is not what He expects of us. Prayer and concentration on His word will keep alive His presence in your heart. Remember, He has rules we must follow.

I write this here only as a reminder of something I sometimes forget but, hey, we’re all frail human beings no matter how strong we think we are and Satan is ever present in this world. Temptation to do wrong hovers around all of us whether we understand this or not. The Bible will help greatly, your understanding of just this fact. Like I stated previously, begin at the beginning: Genesis. (And, no, It doesn’t matter which Bible you possess or are wanting to purchase.) God has said that His word cannot be altered even if the Bible is translated or different words are used for the same thing in different Bibles.
